Lower secondary

For the non-examination classes, the students are required to sit 2 examinations-
mid-year and final year- and 4 monthly tests.

For examination classes, students sit 3 monthly tests, and 3 examinations
(Mid-year, 1st Trial and Graduation). Students are assessed with test papers
similar to those used for the PMB examination. The subjects are:- Bahasa Malayu,
- English Language,
- Chinese Language,
- Mathematics,
- Commercial Studies,- Physical Education,
- Geography,
- Music,
- History and
- Arts.

Upper Secondary

The upper secondary section is divided into 2 streams, the arts stream and the science
stream. The subjects offered for the arts stream are:
Bahasa Melayu, English Language, Mathematics, Geography, Principles of Accounts,
Commercial Studies, Combined Science, Art and Chinese Language. Students are
required to take all the subjects, but they can choose between Art and Geography in
the GCE 'O' Level Examination . Form 4 students who are not sitting the public
examination are required to take Music, Physical Education and Moral Education.

The subjects offered for the science stream are Bahasa Melayu, English Language,
Additional Mathematics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Chinese
Language together with Geography and Principles of Accounts as optional subjects.
