The primary section comprises the lower and upper primary. In the lower primary
level, there is no public examination, while students in the upper primary level
are prepared for the P.S.R public examination at the end of Primary 6.

Lower primary

This section is made up of Primary 1 to 3 classes. The students of the lower primary level are
required to sit four monthly tests, and two examinations (mid-year and end-of-year)
in an academic year. The students' work is assessed on their performance in their
daily assignments, tests and examinations. There would be an assessment of the
conduct of each pupil too. There is no public examination at the end of the lower
primary level.

Upper primary

This sectionis made up of Primary 4 to 6 classes. In this section, students are prepared for
the P.S.R public examination at the end of Primary 6. In an academic year,
students in the examination classes would have to sit for three monthly tests,
and three examinations (mid-year, 1st trial and graduation) while
those in the non-examination classes would sit four monthly tests and
two examinations.
