 The
setting up of the Chung Hwa Website in 1998 marked a significant
milestone in the long history of our school, making it part
of the global community of educators linked by the Internet.
Several modifications have been made to the site ever since,
and its present look has been made possible through the concerted
efforts of all members of the Website Committee.
While the site undoubtedly raises the profile of
our school, it also puts the necessary onus on the teachers to develop
their professional expertise, including in the use of ICT in all
curricular areas,
and to share these ideas with their counterparts, both formally
and informally. In this regard, we
sincerely hope that the inclusion of subject curricula for the various
levels of classes, from
Kindergarten to Form 5, our calendar of activities, the academic
framework, and the annual
assessment reports of the students will be favourably received by
the parents.
We anticipate that in this way the site will serve
as a vital link between our school and the
wider community, especially our well- wishers and prospective parents.
By accessing the site,
they would be able to get a glimpse of our vision, progress and
aspirations as well as to give
valuable suggestions to realize our vision of 'making it a leading
school' by the year 2006.
Eventually, we also expect, our graduates will be able to keep in
touch with their Alma Mater
as well as link with each other, thus creating a bond which should
redound to the benefit of all.
